Helping people when there is nothing to give

Sometimes, when I'm helping someone through a difficult time, I think, "I wish I had a friend like me." Do you all feel this too? I bend over backwards and am loyal to the end...but I don't find that reciprocated often.

Melissa Bonet I noticed that too. I remind myself that I'm doing the part of 2 people and the person on the other end is not getting their fair share of excitement of what is yet to be said by me or said by me and they get spoiled. T After that where is the mystery? There is no more need to want to know how I feel I've given them everything and they are satiated. I feel Ignored after that. Now I do have another thing I say.. "Who cuts the barbers hair?" Bending over backwards makes you do everything.. you got your reciprocation.. from you =) Yes I do wish there were more people like me being as nice to me as nice as I am to other people. I have to remind myself.. that's why its "giving". Think of it this way as well when you go to a casino some people like to take only as much money as they are willing to lose. Or lending to a friend again the rule.. only lend as much as your willing to lose.. because after that gift.. its gone.. hence the gift. The other is a loan. Now while I'm here do you need me to be as nice to you? There is no replacement for an actual persons company when comparing to text. Some would say you need to keep an emotional bank account so that you don't over tax your worth,. If you don't have anything to give.. then where is it coming from? Your stealing energy from your own emotional bank account. Consider it a gift and let it go.. expecting it back will make your emotional rainy day money seem stolen too. -SIGNSOFMINDS http://signsofminds.page.tl You do seem like a loyal friend. =)
